Traveling to Thailand what all do I need to do before hand as far as visas and shots? |
thanks in advance Everyone who told you that you don't need a visa maybe wrong. It depends on what country you hold a passport with. Most Western countries you can get 30 day on arrival visa at no cost to you. You need to list your country for any real help on your visa. As for shots you shouldn't need any unless your going to remote areas. But check with your doctor is best. http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinationTh... i just got back from thailand for a mission trip...but depends on what your believe in... i honestly didn't take any shoots i believe that the Lord will take care of me and he sure did...my friend though got sick even after they took the shoots... but if you really want to be safe then just go to a clinic or ask a doctor, they shoul let you know what you'll need... just bring your passport and have fun...it's a great and beautiful place...i was born there"just a thought" it is a beautiful and safe place. i have visited the place. if u get a city map, then nothing like that. And do go for Thai massage, its really relaxing. enjoy ur trip You can obtain a 30 day tourist visa on arrival in Thailand (free of charge). You can get an extension to this at a Thai Immigration Office if you want to stay longer (about $60), but don't overstay your visa or you will incur a $20 per day fine. If you are planning on staying longer than two months you need to get a 90 day visa before you start your journey. Hi, where are you from? Thailand grant tourist visa to many countries, but there are still some country citizens who will still need a visa on arrival. Check this website for details on the free tourist visa : you dont need a visa..it depends on what vaccinations youve already had but i got Hep A and B, typhoid and needed to take medication for malaria. i just came back, if you are staying less than 30 days you don't need a visa if you are a u.s. citizen ,travel light, no heavy clothes, change your money at airport, very kind people.they didn't say anything about shots. |
