Thailand in 3 weeks?

My husband and I are going to Thailand in April for 3 weeks. We rarely get to see each other (he works overseas and I'm still in the states) so we want to have a nice romantic time while still seeing the area. We'll be flying into Phuket and want to stay in that area. Any suggestions on sites to see or nice hotels (no resorts...we prefer smaller boutique hotels)?

Sounds like a good plan to head to Phuket. You can use thislink to get the place you want, there are reviews from some of the guests of the hotels too:

There are many boutique hotels available, plenty of choices so best for you to select yours.

You may want to consider including Krabi as a place to stay too. You can get villas on the beach, plus it is closer to Koh Phi Phi or the James Bond Island.

Have a good hoilday.

I recommend staying on Phi Phi Don, about 2hrs ferry/ 1 hr speedboat from Phuket. It it absolutely gorgeous there.
My husband and i stayed at Zeavola, which is extremely secluded and romantic! http://www.zeavola.com/ But there are cheaper places on the island. We also stayed one night at Arahmas in Phuket, great place but didn't compare to the island. http://www.arahmas.com/
I have tons of pic's, emifaulk@yahoo.com
another site for places http://www.sawadee.com/
have fun

Four words....

Phuket is not romantic.

Sprry!!

Try this website from my previous answer in http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/?qi...
, you can search through 30 over websites and 700,000 hotels worldwide. You can choose to search through hotel ratings and price.

Good luck. Have a nice trip.
