What's the best way to tour Phuket?

So, after we get a hotel - what do we do? -- Do we take those longtail boats around? - or... ??

We're going for like 2 weeks - is this too much?

1. Go to a travel agency and check out whats available. Plenty of them all over Phuket.

2. Two weeks is too long in one place, try also going to the North or Northwest for a few days also.

use a moped/motorbike, ( or an elephant, ) sure u can find something to do for 2 weeks in phuket. lots of water activities. nature reserve, shopping , beach after beach. dont bother with that rubbish tip over the water ( phi phi ) its a mess these days and over run and over rated, but there are other islands around and even up to phang-nga to see a few out laying islands ( james bond etc )

2 weeks is alot. I would either visit more of Thailand or even different islands (koh phi phi, krabi). Unless you are a crazy beach person this is just too much time. I would say 5 days tops. 3 nights Bangkok and 2 or 3 nights in Chiang Mai. If you are into the outdoors check out the river kwai:

This is a hotel on a raft - you can just jump right in the river. It is north of Bangkok (think it is a few hours by bus or train).

check out phuket leisure and travel tour co.ltd their address is 119 paradise complex ratuthit 200 pee rd its at patong beach phuket their e/m is phuketleisure@gmail.com their office is on the main rd puket its quite easy to find or you can e/m them its run by an aust guy called paul and his wife noy both lovely people they wont rip you off or give you the run around so you wont miss out on anything they will give you all the info you need they have been there for years. tell them greg sent you and i hope to be back soon
