Need helf quick. In Chewang beach Samui . Been dicked around huge.?

Husband and I and 79 year old mother are in Chewang beach and need new accommodations. We are at a hotel now booked through Latestays.com ( don't ever book through them). We originally got to this hotel 4 hours ago and they said hotel was full and sent us to their sister hotel. the hotel was very nice and we thought we lucked out but they put us in a room that the patio was 3 feet away from a brick wall . We paid for a pool side balcony. We are now back in the pool side room at the original place but we have lost the day.
All of a sudden the receptionist English isn't good enough to explain why we didn't get to stay here in the first place. we would have been happy customers but now very miserable.

Yahoo Answers is not the complaint department. Plenty of hotels in the Chewang area just take a walk and look around.

I know that you are hating the hotel and it is not what you booked, but you are in a VERY beautiful place. Make the best out of the bad situation, worry about complaining when you get home. Have a drink on the beach, relax, then explore and enjoy Thailand.

Why make the worst of your vacation...what's the use?

They got your money, Why should they care?? This is Bangkok at it's finest. But seldom does everything on a vacation go as planed. Ask for another room. if you are not happy. Sometimes the room is not available on move in, or they might have saved it for their fellow countryman. At any rate, you are there now. so enjoy the rest of the trip.

You have to remember that LIFE aint FAIR.. Think how many of these people that you meet does not make as much in a month as you will spend in one day on junk. You think they have not been fair to you?? Go Look where some of then sleep.

if you really hate it, tell the company in writing/email, if they have no solution tell them you will find another place and sue the tour operator in the county court (commonly known as the small claims court).
It is very easy to do, I did it with thompson and got my expences and the cost of the alternative accomodation paid for (keep all of your reciepts)
if you can't be bothered with the hastle, then just put it down to experience. good luck

Sorry about your bad situation. Unfortunately you will have to bite the bullet and make the most of your vacation for your family's sake. Go to Thailand every year but my very first time I got royally screwed! I mean royally! I was there for a month, went to a bookstore in Bangkok at the MBK mall on how to speak Thai or at least get around. You should do the same & enjoy! It is beautiful out there! The fact that you make an attempt to speak their language will take you far, trust me!
