Any good and affortable hotel at Ximending?

The popular hotel would be Rainbow Hotel which is located right at the heart of Ximending. Just walk out of the hotel door and you are in the middle of the night life in Ximenting. Ximen subway station is less than 5 minutes' walk from this hotel. Soothing music while walking along corridors of this hotel. Actually if u want to go to the other parts of Taipei, instead of just remainding at Ximending, I would recommend Cosmo hotel which is only next to Taipei main station where it is very convenient if you need to take the subway, normal railway or high speed railway. www.cosmos-hotel.com.tw

By the way, Ximending is not that big and half day exploring the place would be more than enough. Taipei Main Station (major MRT interchange) is only one stop from Ximending Station. Usually I would walk from the Main station to Ximending, there are many interesting shops along the way too. Dun leave them out.

There's a chain hotel one of it locates on Ximending,the other one is also not far from Ximending,it very closed to Taipei main station.

Oh, thats is where I always stay when I visit Taipei. For me, I always stayed at Kingshi Hotel (閲戝弗鍟嗗嫏鏃呭簵) for my trip to Taipei and its afforable and the service is good. It's near Ximending train station and there is free internet broadband service in some rooms. By the way, I have no affilliation with this hotel and I give you this recommendation base on where I stayed before.
