Am leaving for Sydney Australia for further study, wud like to know a lil bit more abt the lifestyle there...?

Am going to Sydney, may be, by mid June for a two years course and as i'll be all alone there, I would have like to know a bit more about how much lodgings, foods, clothes, etc may cost me there per month. If possible, from the cheapest to expensive one.

sydney can be expensive to live in. rent is a lot.
if you move up or down the coast by 1 hour, you;ll pay half the rent and find it easier to get around. plus its beautiful cause of the beaches!
check out domain.com.au for rental properties and prices.
i think generally the cost of living is very good here.
A LOT of internation students move here and do it fine.
i cant really say about clothes and food cause i have nothing to compare it with.
good jeans - 150 bucks. cheap jeans - 30 bucks.
burger and coke - 6 bucks
hourly rate for an average casual job - 18 bucks
i hope this helps a bit...

Well, in Sydney, the less you pay, the worse it is. The more oyu pay, the better it is. There are no tricks here mate.

just beware of blue ring octopus whicle swimming out at sea, and race riots

You would have been better choosing a smaller city as Sydney is major big, busy and expensive.
A two bedroom unit could cost around $345.00 AUST.per week.
If you can share perhaps half or around $150.00. per week
Temperature most likely around the 22 degrees around that period. Food costs are similar everywhere. Clothes all different prices depending on your pocket. Public transport is good but it pays to live near where you want to be to avoid long travel times etc. If you can board in with someone or share would be your cheapest option to keep your costs down. Rentals are in big demand at present and the prices are rising big time. Smaller town smaller prices.

My experience has been to buy and use travel guides.

I have found that guides written by Frommers or Fodors would be VERY helpful in your case and they rate everything

Hope this helps
