Yes there is always room for improvement, but seeing what they have to cope with every single day i would say they deserve a big thank you - lol not a lot of people will put their life on the line for a total stranger and i am sure there is a few bad ones, but there is not a job where there is not a few bad ones

Why post this question here when no-one knows who the SAP are...?

MJ, yet again you display your ignorance and lack of experience in the New South Africa.
For there to be any significant impact on crime in South Africa, the SAP would need to arrest thousands of criminals every day of the year, 300 on a weekend is hardly a drop in the ocean and the fact that South African prisons are so overcrowded and less than 30% of arrested criminals are ever convicted, guarantees the majority of those arrested a free pass.
The justice system in South Africa is in complete ruins and criminal run rampant, you would however not be aware of that as you live partly in the UK and partly in the South African Utopia you have created in your delusional mind that truly does not exist.

Man ,it it s sad day in South Africa if we are happy the police did some work for a change ! Arrests says nothing to me only successful convictions ! News like this is not even supposed to be ''news'' ! It is what they are paid to do every day . Have we become so used not to have services like that , that we actually have to cheer when it happens one weekend out of the year ? Sad, very sad !

That must be about the 10 left who are honest and still know what the word "police" means.
