Is there an ulterior motive behind the United Kingdom's review of South African visa requirements?

Since the year 1910 (Union of South Africa), South Africans have been granted entry into the U.K. where they may remain for a period of up to 6 months on a standard South African passport.
2 Months after the communist thug and rapist criminal, Jacob Zuma, snatched control South Africans ruling terrorist organisation, the ANC, from the AIDS denialist, Mbeki, Britain has begun procedures to implement visa requirements on South Africans entering the U.K. and will scrap the 6 months extended stay concession.
Are they anticipating what most South Africans have now come to accept under the recent conditions of water shortages, electricity shortages, basic food shortages and affordability concerns as well as a rapidly deteriorating infrastructure, ie, that South Africa is a flatering economy on the brink of ruin under ANC mismanagement, ineptitude and corruption and there will soon be a flood of South African refugees to U.K. shores?

Cubztert and Zim - I am well aware of the review of many nations visa requirements, does there not seem to be a targeting of former British Colonies whose third world immigrants are damaging the U.K. landscape such as South Africa, India, Pakistan, West Indies and in the case of the U.S. that applies to the African American population?
Have the U.K. had enough of these free loaders and in turning their back on South Africa who have always had a special relationship with the U.K., are they not acknowledging the fall of South Africa into third world despair?

No, there is no ulterior motive. The Government of South Africa has turned the Country into a Safe Haven, Pitstop and transit point for any Ratbag that has a pocket full of Money. A South African Passport can be had for a small bribe and delivered to a Gangster, quicker than a legitimate South African applicant, who can wait for more than a year, if there is no Kickback.
Anti Western statements and objection to Western U.N. proposal's in the UN, has shifted South Africa into very near the category of "Rogue State", similar to Nigeria. I would hazard a bet that at some stage, South African Airlines could be Banned from landing in the USA

Though your points are well taken I would remind you that Britain is reviewing visa requirements and allowances for many countries at this time, including those for U.S. citizens where they are thinking of cutting the automatic visa limit from 6 months to only 3.

morning Bull........I was just a few minutes late as cubz said it before me......

Its a smokescreen indirectly directed at Africa!!!

Hi Bull, Im a little scared because of what you say in your question. Water shortages? Food shortages? No, there is no such thing..(yet). In fact the power situation has gotten better and better. I almost think its a conspiracy because I havent been load shedded in 2 weeks now?

Yes the other guys are right by saying all countries are reviewing their visa policies. Even Auz has, making it harder for people to get in. But that is not just for South Africans. You know I am the jumpiest and want to get out of here, but its not AS bad as you have made it out to be in your question.

+++add++

I say this because it does not affect me. You should know by now the typical South African syndrome. Im fine so everything is fine :-D I have to wear my blinkers so I dont get too terrified. But seriously. I havent been loadshedded (thanks to the mine guys) and my Pick n pay down the road still has lots of food in it and I can still afford to buy it.

Lucky me!

Bull I think the whole world is sick of Africa and its problems and all it refugees. Frankly I am ....I see now Chad is shooting the *&^%$ out of each other. Who in africa is really at his moment in time really at peace and living prosperously? I mean who the hell wants to immigrate to Africa ......I think the UK has a point: somewhere you have to draw the line .....when I went to the UK in aug last year you should have seen at passport control the queue for UK citizens/Passport holders, there were only African and Indian looking people (Pakistani's) in that line. (All refugees that are now UK citizens) It actually looked as if the whole of Africa and Pakistan has settled in the UK.

See how clever they are??
If we did that when our neighboring countries saw their a$$'s we wouldn't have nearly as many refugee's,illegals etc as we do now. Those countries see what's happening with ours and they've decided that they don't want our problems.

So they cut the visa's. Why? So that their own country men can find work. I've been looking at work permits lately, and it is such a mission in some countries, meaning you have to first have a job contract, then you get the permit, but first the company has to show proof and reason why they are hiring a foreigner.
We should have done the "visa struggle" YEARS ago!!

I think the Government are reacting to a groundswell of Public opinion that the Nation is losing its identity and showing increasing patterns of violent crime as more foreigners enter our shores. Also South Africa has been identified as trafficking Terrorists and other people into the UK who are a threat to our way of life. In London alone the number of South Africans is around 250,000 and whereas in the old days many Employers sought the services of South Africans that has changed. Many have so damaged the reputation of South Africans that they are actually avoided and another source in the form of Eastern Europeans is more sought after,
Unfortunately many decent South Africans will suffer because of the actions of some of their Countrymen but mostly because of the incompetency of an ANC regime who are proving to be totally useless at anything and are a threat to many other Western Nations.
I always wondered what ever became of that "case" that the BEE thief and moron Tokyo Sexwale was to raise with our Consulate when he was stopped and frisked at Heathrow a couple of years ago whilst the Whiteys he was with walked through. They probably gave him an autographed picture of the Queen and a plastic medallion from one of the Souvenir shops to hang around his neck and sent him away to continue weeding the garden.

Again Bull you are very convincing with your argument until one looks at the bigger picture. You are far too selective with your facts.
Britain is creaking under the weight of immigration, and regardless of the rights and wrongs of it all, many people in Britain are putting pressure on the government to curb the numbers of people coming to a rather small island!
