Can I travell to south africa by road from kenya?

Howmany countries have open boundaries in Africa?(opened without visa)
I like to travell by road from kenya to neibouring countries.

The are many overland tours from South Africa to Kenya, eg. Cape Town to Nairobi. So I take it that one can travel through.

The best would be to contact the Automobile Association about travelling in Africa. Also, remember that Kenya is having a little war at the moment. So it is not too safe.

Yes you can, but the people of Kenya must know we are all ready over crowded and had problems of our own

Yeah, you can get there by road, but its another thing if you arrive there alive.

I read a book about an American who actually drove around Africa twice! He followed the ocean, but at times had to go on boats because there were either floods or no roads.

He drove from South Africa to Kenya and from what I remember the only problem he had were corrupt cops and border guards. The border guards did not care that he had a visa, they wanted a bribe or else they wouldnt let him in. And the corrupt cops would have checkpoints and demand money to pass

Africa doesn't have a road network like Europe.

go through tanzania,into zambia head for lusaka and then take the road to vic falls once in vic falls take road to kazangula border crossing (ferry)over the zambezi into botswana,head for francis town and from there martins drift(south afrika).enjoy the drive,will take you about 4 days.
