Easy guide to help you determine if you are a racist in the new South Africa...?

A guide for some who may believe they can't possibly be racist:

1.) Do you insult other forum users at times trying to negate some difficult arguments by calling them racist (basing your stigma on the presumption that your fellow user may be white, where a black avatar may just as easily have raised the same/a similar issue)?
If yes, your gut feeling may be correct - you might be a RACIST

2) Do you support a government who has passed laws decreeing that one race is more important/requires more priority than another and that now as in the past the colour of your skin helps define you and determine your future in South Africa i.e. Affirmative Action, BEE.
If yes your gut feeling is correct - you might be a RACIST

3.) Do you support and/or defend ANC Ministers who issue statements like "crime is a perception amongst some racist whites", "whingers can leave the country", "lily white rugby team", "a perception that the Kaffirs are coming",

"South Africa can learn from Zimbabwe's land reforms" etc. i.e. statements made at the expense of another race.
If yes your gut feeling may be correct - you might be a RACIST

I hope that this guide may help you to rethink certain issues as you may be contributing to the sentiment that racism in South Africa can only possibly be White on Black.

As far as entrepreneurial skills is concerned, No I'm not a racist, let me explain why. In my profession as an accountant I deal with entrepreneurs of all races. I specialize in Small Business Development, and have done so for 15 years. The "black" businessman actually taught me a lesson or two. They actually listen to business advice and follow it religiously. They do not believe in debt to buy luxuries as many of their white counterparts do. They focus on their business and their future, saving and reinvesting rather than buying new cars to impress their neighbours. If someone they know opens or starts a new business even similar to their own, they actually help each other and dont stab them in the back, or steal their clients. The black businessman don't need "trench diggers" they know they can not sit back, and hope the money starts flowing in. For all the above i respect them immensely. Although I'm dealing only with a minute fraction of this countries population, I believe there are much more of these entrepreneurs than a lot of people think.

On the other side of the coin, in my opinion the minority, are screwing up the economy with ridiculous laws and standards which is busy ruining the country for everybody. For them I have no respect ! white or black.

As far as crime is concerned, again in my opinion the minority, I regard one human, killing, hurting, maiming, raping another human as an animal, and if necessary, I will fight fire with fire.

finally, I have two examples which I like to share that changed my view as far as racism. Due to my own absent minded stupidity, four years ago my then 4 year old son almost drowned because I did not attach the net properly. While I was at work he fell in, and my domestic worker, disregarding her own safety because she can not swim, jumped in, almost drowning herself, and SAVED my sons life. For this I will be forever in her debt.

One evening my wife was "almost" hijacked. A black passer by came to her assistance, restraining the THUG, and handed him over to the police, also black, who were there in three minutes, calming hand very professionally helping her.

All these good deeds and stories are overshadowed by the politics, crime and corruption to the point that i'm also enquiring about opportunities abroad.

I will not leave because i'm a racist, but because of a few power hungry dictators who ruins it for everybody.

Mmmmm it looks like I'm a racist
But I do not and repeat do not support the ANC
I support the "awb" alweer broke ha ha ha
Leef en laat leef is my motto and that doesn't say I have to like them

YEAP I AM A RACIST AND PROUD OF IT.....

Well, you can only insult, murder and rape a people so many times and then they will revolt. Their numbers might not be many, but they are represented all over the globe and help might come in from unexpected sources. They have succeeded against the odds many times. A war is not fought by muscle, but by intelligence and strategy.
It's been 14 years, MJ, when are you going to stop singing that tune?

Ag please man.

A wise man should not be angered by the foolish. Don't take all that rhetoric in or take too much notice of it. You guys in SA, come to Britain, instead of race its class and money that matter. People are people and politicians usually suck wherever you are.
Re the crime situation. Crime is born out of poverty and the poverty of the masses in SA is a direct result of apartheid, we cannot avoid that fact. I am not justifying crime but at the same time I am not pretending that SA doesn't have a lot of bad apartheid "karma".... we have to get through it.

Lol i know what i know - no guide needed to know i am a proud South African boere meisie

You also know that these self same barren heads can never ever support their point of view with facts or links etc so they play the Get out of Jail Card which makes them feel better. The fact that we are White also makes us a sitting duck as everyone knows only Whites can be racists.
By the way - where are they? One of the few things Africans react to is shame and they and their beloved ANC have given them much to be ashamed of over the last month as it has been exposed. Cringing behind their keyboards I guess.

All I can tell you is that everyone that has been born and raised during apartheid will find it very hard not to be a racist. Sorry, but it got burned into you. Sure many people white, brown, black are trying to forgive and make the new SA work and do not want to be racist but to just wash it all away is not easy. We continue into the future with positives and us (all colors ) mothers and fathers know that we have to show our children how and what to do to make South Africa work.
