Work in singapore?

can you help me.im from philippines but half chinese.i am good in speaking mandarin, fookien and english.still 20 years old, ..I am recently work in a known company in philippines.however i want to have a better life..so planning to go abroad..i really really want to work in singapore.but my friends told me singapore are not in demand of field in banking or in business field.they are in demand of architecture, engineer and I.T..so here is my question. Is it true that it is harder for me to find job there that is related to my field?

can you give detail on how to apply for mom.gov.sg..thanks..

You can try your luck. Why not?

You can try and apply at www.mom.gov.sg and apply for EPEC. This is a pass for professionals seeking employment in Singapore. The pass will allow you to stay in Singapore for a year, to look and find for a job. You will submit your credentials online and IT IS FREE.

Since you are Filipino-Chinese and you can speak Mandarin, I AM VERY SURE, you can survive pretty well in Singaporeans, as the locals there speak Chinese. I am sure they may even think of you as Singaporean. All the more that you will have better chances because you can understand their dialect. Believe me, with your language skills and your qualifications, you can surely get a job. It may not be that too easy, at first, but patience will reward you.

Do not listen to your friends, go and try it out for yourself. Your advantage in their common language can be your edge among others especially if your would be employer is Chinese or speaks Chinese.

Go ahead. Do not be afraid.

**I hope you could teach me Chinese..hehehe.

Singapore is the best place in the world for business and banking...........hope you try at least

no its easier to get it..... but you have to try hard.... try if you ahve friends at singapore.... if not contact a agent..... and also you register in some job providing webs....its fair enough to get a job......

it will be even better if you can speak Mandarin, there are quite lots of jobs opening in the banking sector, you can view 88db website for banking jobs, i guess it will still depends on your qualifications and experiences....good luck
