Singapore Banks and mobile operators?

We are preparing to move to Singapore from April.
Please advice which banks are better to create an account and which mobile operator is good? Thanks.

Basically there's no difference between local banks in Singapore. The interest rates and products offered are generic. The biggest is DBS, followed by UOB and then OCBC. However, OCBC is the only bank offering full service Sunday banking right now.

As for mobile operators, the biggest is Singtel, followed by M1 and lastly, Starhub. Singtel is the cheapest and has the best network coverage.

What do you mean by which banks are good? Stability or Higher Interest?

Mobile operator, I would like Singtel, but some other people swear by M1 or Starhub.

If you will move to Singapore permanently for banks I'll suggest UOB (United Overseas Bank) but if it's only for a visit of 2-3 months i would suggest Citibank.. UOB has many ATM or bank branches through out Singapore.. But Citibank's quality is more than UOB cause it's a world wide bank.. You can go to Grecce and still find Citibank.. It depends.. For mobile operator i would suggest SingTel.. It's a very popular operator in Singapore and through out Southeast Asia.. You can find lots of SingTel mobile cards through out Singapore..
