Going from Toronto to Singapore with a 1 hour stopover in Hong Kong? |
My flight touches down at 1500 and my connection leaves at 1600, will i have enough time? Both planes are in the same terminal i'm flying with Cathay Pacific You should have no problem, I've connected through Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific over 60 times and have never missed my connection. You will need to transfer from the arrivals level to the departure level, and will need to show your boarding pass and passport as well as go through a security and x-ray check. Even if your plane is a little late to Hong Kong, there will be Cathay Pacific personnel waiting as you get off the plane with a signboard with your name on it and will direct you to your next flight. You do not need to go through customs and immigration, and will receive both boarding passes in Toronto and have your luggage forwarded to Singapore. Only if your flight is very late or delayed getting to Hong Kong will you have a problem, but Cathay has many flights daily to Singapore and can put you on the next available flight if necessary. Cathay is a great airline, have fun. It's hard to give a definite answer to this question. If your flight lands on time in Hong Kong and you don't have to collect your baggage or go through customs then you might be okay. However, if any of this doesn't happen perfectly, then no. Good luck! there shouldnt be a problem.. i have been on the same route as yours for about 80 times.. |
