Im planning to visit singapore. do you guys can recommend a cheap hotel/apartment/ any rooms for backpackers? Below are some websites of Singapore backpackers' accommodation. The cheapest rate would be for mixed dorms starting about S$18 per night to the mid $20s on average, slightly higher for female-only dorms. There are also private rooms, depending on your budget. I was in Singapore in October and I stayed at The Inn Crowd. It's in Little India- easily accessible via public transport. I don't remember how much I paid but they are listed on hostel world. I had a good time there, and the girl, Ping, who works behind the counter most of the time is a sweetie :) Although I think she just had a baby so there may be a different sweetie working reception nowadays. Stay either on Inn Crowd or in Sentosa. I'm going to Singapore too. Try 1BnB Singapore. Depending on the room and if you will avail of breakfast, rates can be from s$55 to s$85. Location is good too. It is walking distance from the nearest MRT and bus station. $70 for a week in Geylang area. You are just renting a bed (a double deck bed) in a room that you will be sharing with a few others. Check out this site called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com Its search covers 30 over sites with 700,000 hotels. it depends on how long you're staying in Singapore, if you are looking for service apartment, you can try go to Cairnhill Towers or Regency House that can be found on 88db, and if you want to try the budget accommodations, you can go to Fern Loft Backpacker located at East Coast, or Bugis Backpackers which is located right in the heart of Bugis Village |
