Novotel hotel in sheffield?

Has anyone ever stayed in the novotel in Sheffield center. My friends are coming to stay in england in London from Spain but they want to stay in Sheffield for just one night. They are coming on the train and are not sure what time it is so don't know what time they will arrive in Sheffield. i was wondering if it is possible to go straight to the hotel and book and pay for a room on the day? if so what time would you have to check out the next day? thanks

Advanced booking is essential-especially if they do not want to be disappointed!
Plus you may save some money.
Most Hotels/Motels take deposit on Booking(But only charge after you have check-in-Hope this helps.
You may wish to consider B&B's as well as Other Hotels like Beaucheif on Abbeydale Road South,as well as the Numerous B&B's in Netheredge.
