Why are there so many students in Sheffield?

After thatcher had decimated the coal and steel industry the city was broke so they had to re invent the city.As the local industries had gone and they were not intrested in actually improving the lot of people who actually live and work here,they decided to line the pockets of private enterprise.So welcome Sheffield the university capital of the u.k.I have nothing against students per se having been one myself,but when i see them pulling down social housing and putting up student accomidation i am not too happy about it.Sure education is a right,but they have made it a privellidge for those who can afford it.Check this,you can do a degree,2 years,in the phsycology of sports injuries?????

It's because there are two large Universities in Sheffield.

because believe or not there are two universitys in Sheffield this may account for the students however I may be wrong but it is fairly obvious this is the reason
