Has anybody been to The Seychelles?!?

I have always wanted to go to The Seychelles because it's reputed as being one of the most beautiful tropical countries in the world. Is it really The Garden of Eden?

1st off I would like to state to manjula4 that here in seychelles there is much much more than beaches, even 30 yrs ago there were more than just beaches.

I am a local seychelloise, and thank you for stating that our country is being reputed as one of the most beautiful tropical countries in the world. I am biast, so I agree. We have some of the best beaches in the world, also the diving sites are awesome.

What people are saying is the Garden of Eden is a place on the island of Praslin called the Valle de Mai, it is beautiful, if you get to go there and see it you will see why. It is also a preserved area of forest where coco de mer palms are abundant.

Also we have scrumscious foods to delight any palet, and we have many many more attractions. I will admit it is not the cheapest place to go, but if you make nice with some locals we will take you in and for $10 US a day provide you with dinner, and help you out alot. yes. I was there 30 yr ago It is beautiful. Deserted islands are the eden. Besides beach there is nothing more.
