Currency Question. US Dollar VS. South African Rand. Want to plan a trip.?

Planning Family trip ideally to South Africa, Madagascar and/or Scychelles. We know the dollar is weak as it translates to Pounds, Euro and even has fallen in Canada. Kinda hoping to get more for the money. If you have suggestions of where to stay, eat and what is a great value, please advise. Thanks.

Would you say the Dollar is strong or weak? Any section/location better than another for accomodation/tourism? Thinking of starting the trip is SA and traveling up from there.

U should get around 6 to 7 rands for every dollar.Where to stay over will depend where in South Africa u would be travelling.SA have many different cultures and it might be a good idea to contact the South African tourism board.They will also be able t give u advice on Madagascar and the Seychelles.
