Moving to Saudi? |
My family and I will be moving to Riyadh this summer. I am worried though bc when we send gifts to our family in Riyadh they always steal half of them and they enver make it to them. And we never send anything that is not allowed what so ever. I am scared they will steal our things, is their anyway to prevent this? It is not fair!! they as in the people that check everything that comes into Saudi to make sure its not bad things the law does not allow. The GOV! Yes it's true, they do check everything...I recently moved to Saudi Arabia and after they arrived here, they took about 2 weeks to check all of our boxes. When we finally got our boxes back, you could tell they looked through them because some things were not in their proper place but I haven't noticed anything was missing...Just make sure you read what you are not allowed to bring...But i wouldn't worry about it TOO much, since nothing of OURS went missing. I also know a couple of other people who recently moved here, and nothing of theirs went missing either. I wish you the best of luck with your moving and I hope i helped you out!!! who is they?...and i don't think they will steal in front of you...but i wouldnt want to move to Saudi if it was me, im happy here in the states mail delivery confomation dont use regular mail. it is subject to the "foreign laborers" who are employed for the search service to pilfer through the stuff.. I sometimes get half the items I am sent in regular mail from my relatives abroad. or its been cut open using some sort of stone age knife and half taped back together, with the contents all broken or spilling out.. . Use a service like DHL or UPS.. it will get to you in one piece that way, but a drop more expensive.. but worth it I'd say.. yup "foreign laborers" do open ur mail as the above comment said u should use an other company Why some peoples can鈥檛 change their racist attitude even they are educated? |
