HI All, Is it possible to tarvel to Saudi From Dubai, If I am on a Visit Visa to Dubai?

I have benn invited from A co. In Riyadh for a visit to KSA. but denied a Visa from The Consulate.

It is possible and by law - it is not a problem and there are two ways how to enter KSA. However, here are the problems:

1. You should have a Saudi Sponsor (company or individual) who shall issue an invitation for you and then you can apply a visit visa to Saudi .
2. The above is not an assurance that you will be issued a visa and this is subject to the Saudi Consulate or Embassy to issue or deny one.
3. The problem you will have is your present location and status. Since you are on a visit visa in the UAE, this means your residency status is still a transient and your place of residency is still your original place of origin - which is your home country.

Another problem with the above situation is that due to KSA \(& other GCC) curbing of illegal alliens and entrants to the region, visit visas are only issued to residents of GCC.

Here is another solution:

Yo can ask your sponsor to apply and let the visit visa be issued there in SAUDI and have the original copy sent to you. Ihave personally never thried this - but a friend of mine (british citizen) was able to get this.

I am not fully aware whether that is still in effect as of this time.

No, you cannot - you need a seperate visa for saudi arabia.

Saying that.....now with the new laws that gulf citizens can travel without a passport between the gulf countries, my preditiction is that in a few years from now, it could be one visa for the gulf, just like the schengen visa for europe;
