wow! that questions answer can vary dramatically.. Depending on what your job is and who your employer is and what your income will be..
There are anywhere from luxurious resort type compounds.. all the way down to slummish low rent compounds...
for the most part on average living standards are great, shopping is good, and cost of living is low.. gasoline (petrol) is cheap, groceries food items are cheap, electricity is cheap, as is water. all utilities... Taxi's are plenty for your wife to come and go as she pleases.. Shopping is wonderful.. brand new malls and mega groceries popping up as we type here...
