What is the age of a mahram in saudi arabia? (muslim only)?

asalamualykum me and mother want to go to hajj and my dad cant come with us and we live in the US and obviously there are no mahram laws here and we are not familiar with the laws of saudi arabia. What is the the proper age for me to be able to be a mahram for my mother to be able to walk in the street and visit the kabaa?

I think it is 14, but you should be able to find this information by asking your local mosque, as the age is defined by religious law.

I believe ur able to go with ur mom once uve passed that age to when ur a man. But please check up on it because I am not 100% sure. Anyways good luck for ur hajj in the future!

a mahram has to be a mature man .
once you have a moustache, you can be responsible for you mother in hajj.
18 years is proper bec a man is allowed to marry at this age.

there are groups from USA that go together.. contact the SaudiEmbassy in Washington and ask them about the groups.. That way you wont need a specific male member of your own family..
