If King Abdullah is the present king of Saudi Arabia, why do people say King Abdul Aziz is the king os Saudi?

King AbdulAziz is King Abdullah's father and the founder of the Kingdom of saudi Arabia........

we refer to the former Kings as "King" sort of out of respect. Similar to the way in USA, you call all former Presidents still by President so and so.. Its just a sign of respect..

Well, Abdul Aziz is the unitarian, founder and first king of Saudi Arabia.
Since Saudi Arabia is Monarchic, Abdul Aziz inherited the bench to his sons as follows; Saud then Faisal, Khalid, Fahad and Abdullah.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is yet a very young country, Abdul Aziz had just proclaimed himself King of Saudi Arabia in 1930. That means some of Abdul Aziz`s agegroup are still alive. Therefore, I believe saudis may have still call him the King of Saudi since his days are still memorised as if he`s present.

It does not matter they wealthy dictators. The oil belongs to the people not stupid kings. Where are the queens ?
