Would you come to Saudi Arabia ? live or visit ?

Would you come to Saudi Arabia ? live or visit ?

hmm no neither

No ways

Yes I will be moving to Saudi Arabia sometime in the future. He is from Saudi and doesn't want to live in the USA so we wil be going home. I'm American.

I think yes ....why not

i would say yes since i am a muslim.....but not during all of these wars?

handsomeh? Saudi isnt in a war.... Life is fine here.. There are many many foreigners from all over the world living here and enjoying themselves.. Its a good moral country to raise kids in.. Crime is low.. Good values here.. Now having said this, im not blind to the fact that even Saudi has its crime or bad people, but overall, its a good place to be. Just hot, so if you dont like the heat (summers get up to 120F) stay home..

Saudi Arabia is a closed country. That means you can't just pop in for a tourist visit. You must be sponsored in by a Saudi citizen for a good reason.

I've been there many times, although a month has been my longest duration. I've worked with many westerners who are there on 3-years contracts. At the beginning, it sounds great. Good pay, no taxes, accommodations included, paid vacation every 6 weeks.... Within 6 months, they realize why it sounded so good. They're ready to do whatever it takes to get deported. It gets to the point where you hope one day in public to catch a glimpse of a woman's ankle, but most often that's in vain. Contact between men and women is not permitted, even between westerners. It really is a case of "When in Rome..."

For all the people in America who complain how terrible it is, I'd like to see them spend ONE year in Saudi Arabia. They will have an entirely different viewpoint upon their return.

For me, it wasn't a choice to go to Saudi Arabia so much as that I could handle it. And so I did. I was paid well and I didn't have to spend much time there.

ya whay not ? i'm from saudi arabia , no crime you feel safe when you go out in the streets , and the peopel are freindly but the weather is very hot , but it's great country to life in

I hope walahi, gedan gedan, but I have no chance to visit Saudi Arabia if you can help me? I'm ready

thanks in advance

already do..its not bad at all but different very different its another culture to adopt in so if you don't cope well I hestiate if you could handle it..but I love KSA because I'm Muslim and just would love to live in Makkah or Madina

take care":)

Saudi Arabia is not what it used to be 10 years ago. It has improved drastically. There is a lot of developmental work and anyone from any part of the world can come and live over there. Since it is the birthplace of Islam there are some customs and traditions that are still followed and it needs to be respected just as we respect the laws of any country while visiting or living there for a long period. The regulations for visit as well as residency visas have become more simple and anyone wanting to start a business or visit the place for business purposes will find it easy to get a visa. One thing though is that just like other countries the main cities are more developed and the smaller towns are not so developed. But things are changing for the better.

yes why not?
firstly i from saudi arabia. but i will answer as a eyewitness.
saudi arabia has changed over the last 10 years . it's save country, low crimes rate, and emothional comfortable country.
foreigners very respectful than before due to the change in the people view about them . there are great chances of work and business . and now the new visa system for businessmen is accepted.
as a foreigners they always live in compound, so your live style does not change so much .
in the prices feild , almost every thing is cheap even american car is cheaper than in us. (as the websites shows).
to rent home you need aboute 70K to 120K real annuly (20K to 33K US Dollar).

as they say before you only voncern aboute the heat in the summer time speicaly from june to september.

only thing we miss here is cinema.

thanks

I used to live there and I Will get back soon after college insha'Allah.

yeah why not,, I live in saudi arabia and I feel it's safer then any place else. =)

yes, i like to living there.

live

I'm a Canadian who has lived in Saudi for 18 years. Living in Saudi is what you make it to be. If you do not want to respect the cultural differences and traditions, don't come. If you are willing to be flexible and have a lot of room for cultural diversity, Saudi has the opportunity for a wonderful life, great travel opportunities and some obsene cash.

Live . . . yea why not? I went there once really nice!! PEACE!!

I live in Saudi Arabia and no I don't like it. Its boring cuz women can't drive so you can't get out much.
It seems much safer then the USA cuz ppl don't talk about the stuff that goes on over here..........

i would like to live .

i`d visit if it was easier to do with visas etc
