i desperately need a credit card but dont have one its not that commen around herre, i heard that there are PRE-payed credit cards but where can i buy them in KSA? in riyahd

You should be able to purchase one through Western Union. Here is a location, you should call first and ask:

hello - about that pre-paid credit card u can get one very easy through the NCB " national commercial bank" is just for 100 saudi riyals and its valid for 3 years
all what it takes is a copy of your Igama "ID" and thats it

You can go to any Bank and ask, I know they sell them at the Alrajhi Bank for amounts upto 3000/5000 S.R.

You can also check out Western Union.

If you have a job and/or steady income and can provide the necessary documentation , any major bank would be happy to issue you a credit card.
Visa, MasterCard, & American Express are all available here.

a few months ago I went to my bank and asked that same question. I also have no income. What they told me (samba) was that my account had to have at least 3000 riyals in it for me to get a "prepaid" credit card. I thought all I had to do was just give them for example 1000 riyals and theyd just put it on a credit card for me. Nope.
What I did was have my husband transfer 4000 into my account, got the credit card, then pulled out 3000 and gave it back to him. suckers!
My friend gets special cards through aramex that are prepaid and allow her to order things from the internet. When using this card online select "mastercard" as type of credit card. Good luck.

No offense...and perhaps its none of my business but....what do you want with a Pre-Payed credit card if you don't have an income in the first place?!?

What i mean is, its not the best way to save money......
