i have been asked for my passport # in san paulo before a car service can pick me up. is this a ruse or valid? No, it麓s not used to ask passport or ID #...only police can ask your passport or ID #. Not normal. Passport numbers are never requested for ground transfers, unless you will travel by bus and don't have a brazilian ID. Airport transfers not at all. Be careful with your passport and the service provider you get. |
