Is $250 to much for a room with internet in sao paulo?

sorry forgot to mention thats monthly

Its cheap, check the area to see if its alright.

no it should be a good hotel for that price

$250 a month? It kind of depends on the place, but it doesn't sound unreasonable.

$250 are Reals or US Dollars???

If the room is good, the place is well located and the owners can speak English it is VERY CHEAP. Do not expect to pay the same Brazilians would pay, because you wouldn麓t accept the same conditions.

I think that's a fine price ($250 USD). Of course, I don't know the location within SP or the condition of the apartment. But, assuming it's in an average location... and an average apartment... I think it's a very decent price for a tourist. A Brazilian would likely pay a little less. But, that's life when you're not a national. If you were to say that it was $500 USD per month, I'd say that you'd better be in a nicer apartment... and sharing it with only 1 other person. Or, living by yourself. Again, it can really vary based on a variety of circumstances (location, quality/size of apartment, whether you are tourist or Brazilian, etc).

I'd pay $250 USD for an average (or slightly below average) room. Well, consider that $250 USD is about what you pay for 2 nights at a hotel! $250 USD for an entire month is a steal.

For reference, I paid $125 for 1 month in a city just outside of Rio. But, it was not a tourist area... and the apartment was at a discounted rate. This was 1/2 the month's true rent... and I stayed with a Brazilian friend. Again, he was getting a good price. So, my paying for 1/2 the month's rent was basically 1/2 of a really good deal. I doubt anyone could do any better under normal circumstances. It was a 2 bedroom apartment in a large apartment building (well kept and safe).

It's a great price. I know places that need pay $250 per day.

I have been in S茫o Paulo many times and I never found a price like this for a month. This price is really cheap, so I hope it is not a bad place.

That's actually reasonable, what you want to look for is location of apartment. If your in a safe area than you would obviously consider this a good deal. I would verify where the apartment is and make sure you are in a neighborhood that is safe

Whether is in dolar or real it sounds good to me. Sao Paulo is an expensive city, don't forget that.
Vila Olympia is a good neighborhood so you are fine.

That's pretty cheap, actually. For that side of town.
It's a very good neighborhood.

Absurd. You shouldn't pay more than US$ 40,00 a day (if you're talking about a hotel. Cyber Cafe costs less than US$ 2,00/hour)
