I am going to Brazil...Help Me?

What do they wear at night? In the day? What kind of bathing suit should I wear..Im a woman...I don't wear a thong suit in California, but I want to know if I need to in Brazil. Any other important info WOuld help

Evening wear is a bit more dressy than in the US, with day wear fairly relaxed. You wouldn't need to wear a thong on the beach, but you probably should. It might be very liberating for you, especially as it's something you don't do at home. No need to worry about body size or shape in Brazil - you see everybody wearing thongs.

Their clothing style isn't that far off from ours ... Just dress how you normally dress. As for the night .. if you are going out to eat .. or any other social event .. they do get at least dressy casual to dressy .. unlike where I live at least .. people wear a sloppy t-shirt and jeans for dinner.

.. as for a swim suit .. a 2 piece or bikini is fine .. if you mean you are looking to fit in more .. no one wears a 1 piece .. Brazilians are very open with their body image .. no matter how they look ... very free and loving people .. many women wear tiny tiny brazilian bikinis .. or just a 2 piece .. or an american swim suit i mean .. and the males wear speedos..


If you like shopping for clothes .. Brazil def has nice clothes.. MUCH nicer then american clothes..

And dont forget, if u plann coming to the south too, dont forget to bring some coat...it can be a little cold even in summer sometimes.

sadly Brazil has become more similar to the US in fashion and stuff than I would like...so...the clothing style it's similar to the US.
the bikinis are a little bit smaller, but you don't have to use a thong.
please keep in mind that seasons are inverted, now it's summer there and in july it's winter!!! :)

You wear whatever you want, what kind of question is this? Why would you NEED to wear anything different? Now if you want, wear something different.

Sounds like a great adventure. Have a good time. I would like to hear about your experience and observations because I have been contemplating a tirp to Brazil myself and having all kinds of questions about a foreign culture and land. I think the ideal thing would be to have someone over there as a friend and guide.

I don't know... Just be yourself. Brazilians like to use sensual clothes at night (but not too much). They use bikinis on the beach. Everybody will know that you are American, so don't worry... But I recommend: never use bermudas with black socket and rastafarian hair.

-We use clothes...in day and night. But you can be naked as well if you like.
