Hi!I would麓d like to teach English privately in SP,I have no idea where to start.?

Im in sp now but I dont know anyone,no contacts & etc. So Im hoping, maybe there麓s somebody here who can help me out a lil bit..maybe somebody who麓s tutoring students..and there麓s more that one can handle..would be a big help!thanks!

I guess there will be an American or British Language institutes in SP where you can leave your resumee. Also, leave your CV in SP's British schools where they always requiere native speakers in order to helo the children. If, after all these, you dont find anything, then post your ad in the newspaper, I am sure someone will answer it.

go to the schools in SP, and look for students, or check out some english schools to see if they are looking for any teachers.

You can do a small school in suburb. For children learn English cheap. Because they don't have money to pay expensive things. If you would like help them. Try speak with English teaches in Brazil. By Universities and etc. You can do business together. People with money I think prefer big schools of English. Your school could be small now however you can do it big! And help a lot of Brazilians to learn other language. What they couldn't learn because their parents can't pay a school of English.

Well, events by professional associations could be a way of getting to know other professionals and obtaining training. Try Braz TESOL and APLIESP.

I would ask you to reconsider giving private tutoring if you don't know the local market well or have contacts, as being employed by a local school could give you that kickstart, and you can always decide to leave later. There is great demand for EFL teachers and there are schools willing to hire even unexperienced teachers.

Besides, I wonder if you are registered as self-employed with the Brazilian government, which is a nightmare in terms of taxing and bureaucracy. Otherwise, you will be evading taxes.
