Is it dangerous at night (or even day) around Normandie Desing Hotel in Av. Ipiranga-Sao Paulo?

I'll be staying in that hotel, but I don't know if that neighborhood is safe or not.

I answered your question about Rio, and I say the same about Sao Paulo. Just don't walk alone at night and don't dress like a g ringo. I was born in Sao Paulo. Is a crazy place. Huge that u can be overwhelmed by it. But people there are great. Qhen r u going? to do what? This way I can help. I live in Canada but maybe I could help you.

it's not that bad really, but don't trust to everyone there !!! it's a nice place to be around.....at night i think there is a restaurant around that area.......

Its dangerous both night and day. Who picked this hotel for you? If its a tour company they could have done better. Well, if you have to stay there then do your best to look like the locals and not a tourist. Carry just enough money for the day and leave your passport and other items (locked) at the hotel.
