Something to do in sfo in 30 mins?

hi my college friend is visiting me in like 30 mins, and i ve got to entertain him in san francisco.. am sorta new here and dunno what to do.. pl. suggest things to do / places to visit tonight.. we are both 25 years fun male.. (straight)..
-> hit a pub
-> eat at a fancy / good restaurant

Fishermen's Wharf and North Beach are always easy options. Some of the food's not bad and there's always something happening.

There's a blues bar whose name unfortunately I can't recall. It's a regular bar downstairs and a blues room upstairs. I'm not sure but I think it's Pier 47.

Another goof option is to hop a boat to Sausalito. Nice run across the bay, the boat's licensed an there's great food and bars. There's an Irish pub I like right near the wharf. And if you want to exert your "not gayness" then there's always Crazy Horse in Market Street or some places at the top of the hill just off Columbus Avenue, just minutes walk to some great ChinaTown restaurants.

There are many nice restaurants and pubs in SFO terminal 3, but you can't get in without ticket, some nice asian food in international terminal lobby.

30 min? you probably can't do anything.

Go to Pier 39.
Or to the Financial District.
The Cable Car would be good.
ChinaTown-Specially its Chinese New Year.
