can anyone reccommend somewhere to stay in san francisco. Would like something kinda funky but not too pricey. cheers http://www.hotelrooms.com/sanfrancisco.h... Hotel Powell is nice and cheap .The Powell street car stops right outside the front door. Its just off Union Square For your first visit Union Square is probably the best place to stay. There are lots of good restaurants, shops, theaters and clubs in the Union Square area. It is centrally located with lots of public transportation options and within walking distance of most of the tourist areas. There's a very cute place in the Marina, just off of Lombard, called the Hotel Del Sol. Rooms run about $160/night for double occupancy. If your looking for cheap hotel in San Francisco. Go to http://www.firstworldclasstravel.com, they give specail rates evreyday. The hotel that my travel agent told me is the best is Hyatt in Downtown S.F. and the Hilton is not that good. |
