Planning a trip to San Diego in June.?

This is going to be my 2nd trip to San Diego in 9 years, if I decided to go. How is San Diego holding up since the forest fires last year?

We are doing just fine since the wildfires. The trouble we are having lately has had to do with periods of sunshine and then heavy rains with freezing cold temperatures. We even got snow in valley areas and low-lying hillsides!! This happened also a couple of years ago. The heavy rains are causing flooding and runoff for some of the burned out areas caused by the wildfires, but otherwise, we are doing fine.

As one person said, we do indeed get June Gloom here. While July is typically hot, August and September are usually very hot, with temperatures in the low 100's at times. June, on the other hand, can be overcast and gloomy, with temperatures in the 50's and 60's. June is not a good time to come to San Diego if you want to take advantage of our sunshine and going to the beach. I would wait until late July or sometime in August, if you want to have the greatest chance at a warm and pleasant vacation.

San Diego is doing fine. It's amazing how quickly things returned to normal. The community pulled together and did a great job during the fires.

I hope you have a great visit in June.

What a surprise, Chas just added a link to the reader. How original for him.
Since the fires San Diego is doing great. It effected mostly the outer areas.

San Diego is doing fine sence the fires, but my big warning is to NOT go in June. There is something called June Gloom, where it is gray and overcast and foggy and actually chilly for most of the day.
