Has Gasthof Hinterbr眉hl in Salzburg closed?

I have tried several times to make reservations in Salzburg at Gasthof Hinterbr眉hl, but have received no response. I am also unable to contact them via email or phone, although their web site is still up.

Does anyone know if this has closed?

Actually I am not a travel agent, but a tourist and amateur podcaster, so thanks for the recommendation, but we won't have a car.

I don't know what number you have been trying to reach, but I've just checked 01143-662-846798 (from the U.S.) and the phone was answered. So, probably you should try again.

It is still listed on commercial web sites, but no longer on the Salzburg area official tourist site (www. salzburgerland.au), so perhaps it has gone out of business or is being renovated. If you are traveling by car (there is no convenient public transport), may I recommend a lovely little inn just south of Salzburg, Hotel zum Kirchenwirt in Puch. It's got a web site you can visit. (I have absolutely no connection to it, but have stayed there three times and been treated well. It may be a problem for people with absolutely no German.)

Edit: Sorry, you are probably a travel agent, not a tourist, but I stand by my recommendation of the Kirchenwirt for people who prefer to have a place with free parking and absolute quiet at nigh, but with a short, easy commute to downtown Salzburg.
