Which is better place as tourist attraction - innsbruck or salzburg?

i am not much interested in visiting museums

i would go to salzburg and stay in the outksirts.. you will find enough tourist attractions and activities (non-historical) to keep you amazed and busy...

stay in the Salzkammergut region and make a trip to Mondsee (the lake) where you can go boating, water-sporting, trekking, etc... you will most definitely have the chance to get a cable car to the top of the alps.. and make sure u visit the Salzkammergut salt factory, along with the Hallstatt Ice Caves.. these are not to be missed, as without the same, you'll be wasting your trip to Austria

Salzburg (city and region) is definitely better suited for trourists.
