Is Russia a bad country?

Is Russia a bad place to visit? Can somebody tell me what its like is Moscow? Is Russia a bad place to visit for an America? Why did they kill somebody like a spy or something? I just want a clearer picture of Russia. Sould we be concerned with Russia and their military?

it is very historic, everywhere you go has a story
and the architecture is VERY unique
the weather is cold but it is a lively place

that moscow is now the most expensive city in the world

then to make money he started to reveal
a bunch of lies or "secrets"
he wrote books
and fled from Russia
he made MANY MANY enemies, and was poisoned with
polonium 210
it is not known who did it
but that is what happens to traitors
if someone did that in the USA to Bush
and had that many enemies
he would suffer a worse fate

Dont be concerned with the Russian miltary
they are not going to hurt you
they just dont want to be controlled by the USA

There's nothing wrong with Russia, but it's FREEZING in the winter, especially when you get to the north of Russia. There's a reason they were looking for a warm water port for winter...

But hey, Russia sounds like a great place to visit!

There are no restrictions on speaking to Russians. I've lived in Moscow and have many russian friends. There haven't been restrictions for 25 years.

"Bad country" - what is that? It sounds sooo childish!.. There are no "bad countries" in the world, practicaly n every state is either bad, either good for other countries.
You should be concered about oyr military in only state - if you attack us. Otherwise, there is nothing dangerous for the USA.
As to the spy-scandal: the UK haven't given a direct evidence that Lugovoi killed Litvinenko. The probability that he was murdered by order of Berezoffskiy ( the oligarch who is hidden in London from the Russian justice) is still very high. The guy played too dangerous game and didn't listen to anybody. In the end he got caught.
I believe, Moscow is rather a safe city. Of cause, if someone is stupid enough, he/she can get pickpocketed or robbed or something, but nothing extraordinary. People there (as in any place on the planet) work, study, raise their kids, get fun, get troubled and so on.
It's impossible to tell about the life in a country in a few words...
P.S.The Russian diet isn't meagre. It is healther. We almost don't eat fast-food and other toxic stuff like that.

Americans are not aware what is between Russia & GB under carpet actually. Ruskies want to restore their monarchy and asked the Brits to present them His Highness Prince Billy. The Brits showed finger! And Russians feel p委ssed off big time.
The task of that spy was actually to coax the prince to move to Russia. But he failed to carry out this job. According to Russian laws he was condemned to death through poisoning. That鈥檚 simple!
