Do you need a license to be a real estate agent in Brazil?

I want to become a Realtor in Rio. I will be getting my citizenship next year and want to do that for work. I currently have my California real estate license. Do you know the requirements for Rio or Brazil in general?

Let me rephrase my question......Do you need a "real estate" license to become a realtor in the country of Brazil? If so, can you explain this process and where to start?

Yes, you do need a license.
It麓s called CRECI...you must do a course called TTI ("T茅cnico em Transa莽玫es Imobili谩rias").
It does takes between 3 to 9 months to complete the course (it depends on you to pass at the 9 disciplines + 130hrs. internship).
The course and fees cost around R$2.000,00
