Stay at Rio airport hotel?

Hi there, I am arriving quite late 10:30/11 PM and Rio international airport in December, just wondering is it worth staying in a hotel that night or should we just find a comfy airport lounge to snooze in? And which hotel?

THANKS!

The Airport Hotel in Rio is quite expensive, being the only real hotel there. Its inside the airport, on the 3rd floor of terminal 1.
Its called Hotel Aeroporto.

There is a very confortable Diners Club lounge if you have the card.
There is also a "pousada", sort of like a B&B, not expensive and if your idea is just a sleep over, it should do it.

thats on the 1 floor, red sector
The lounges are not confy at all.
The hotel, the B&B and the Diners lounge are all on the older terminal which is sort of in poor condiction, needs repairs etc.
There was an American Express lounge as well, but I think it closed and it was not very good anyway.
The Dinners one has bath etc...

This might help you out. Here is my travel agency info if you need great rates.

It searches 1,000 of rates for rooms, flights and rental cars.

The Airport are 30 minutes from Copacabana Beach. I should to sleep in confortable and quiet hotels. In the morning, wake up with sunshine. The taxi arrived all the time. Or, do you preffer to get a hard traffic from Airport to Downtown ?
