Traveling Brazil's Atlantic coast by bus?

Is it safe to travel from Rio De Janeiro city to Buzios or to Paraty by bus on route 101?

I Should this trip !!
- The road is good, security and private.
- The bus company Via莽茫o 1001, is good too, with conditionned air.
- The bus driver use metal hand detect to verify guns in Rio de Janeiro Bus Station.
- The bus no stop during the trip.
- The 101 Route have 5 point police verify until Buzios. In genneral, the bus no stop, because they have a secret code for danger (driver and police).
- I Should total care in Rio de Janeiro Bus Station, the region is not security, in special for foreigners.
- Arrive in station by taxi or special bus from Gale茫o Airport.

i would highly not recommend it.

Rio is an amazing place. but the violence is big.
I would recomend you to get a guide or go in a taxi or something.
Don't go by car, 'cause you don't wanna get lost in the slums os something.
