Can I use travelers checks in Germany? |
Can I use travelers checks in Germany? Yes of course. And just an advice: If you go and want to change a check into money, German banks will charge you. Only exception: "Deutsche Reisebank" - this is a special bank which you will find at nearly every station and airport (www.reisebank.de). Also the opening hours are different: Regular banks in Germany have opened from Monday until Friday from 9 am - 4 pm (On Thursdays 9 am - 6 pm). The "Deutsche Reisebank" is opened 7 days a week from 8 am - 6pm or sometimes (on bigger stations) 10pm. you can use those worldwide Yes you can. Traveler's checks should be accepted where ever that credit card is accepted i.e. American express, visa Not only in Germany. In whole world......... yes, but use only american express to be safe yes you can, but you are better off using cash or Visa |
