Is queenstown closer or is dunedin closer to gore?

Im trying to figure out which airport would best to fly into since i am from USA

It depends on your flights.
Most international carriers fly into Auckland, Wellington or Christchurrch.
From Australia it's possible to get a flight to Dunedin or Queestown,
The quickest and most direct bus service to Gore would be from Dunedin, not Queenstown.
So after your international flight, take an internal one to Dunedin, and catch a bus to Gore from the Airport.
Whaddayawanna go to Gore for anyway?

Dunedin is closer by about 10 miniutes, and has a bigger airport.

Invercargill is the closest airport to Gore.

Where are you wanting to get to? Gore? Poor you,

Dunedin has a fully operational airport and so does Queenstowns both are about 2-2 1/5 hours drive to the Paradise of Gore.

Invercargill also has an airport and is about 45mins drive from Gore
