Where's the best place to ski near Queenstown? I would say The Remarkables is better than Coronet, the runs are more challenging and I generally find I have a really enjoybale day both in terms of skiing and the phenomenal scenery. They have really good ski instructors if you are a beginner and they do snow making when there hasn't been a heavy fall. Queenstown! The Coronet Peak ski resort is only 25 minutes away from the town itself, if that's what you're asking. I would say the Remarkables too, definitely more challenging. Have fun while you're there and be careful! |
