Is it a good idea to visit cairns in december/january? it will be rainy? |
im from germany-thanxxx cairns is a great place to visit.....dec jan is their monsson season....if may shower in fact pour down through the day but it only lasts 15min and then its hot all over again....sometimes the rain is relief.....best time to go though would be now through til end of nov...... Yes at that time it will be a wet, sticky, sweaty heat (very tropical and unpleasant). Melbourne and Sydney are at their best at that time of year and the heat will be dry and good for suntanning! Id wait for Cairns until April when its cooled down a bit. |
