I have a flat in Pune which I rented out recently. I live in another city. My property broker leased out the?

flat for me. When the lease aggrement reached me I find that the lease period is put down as 24 months ( 2 years ) instead of 11 months.
What do I do ?
I am very worried that I may loose the flat to the new tennant.
Please suggest how I can get out of this situation.

first mistake was to give power of attorney to your broker. lot of people make this mistake. some brokers show less rent in the lease and pocket the extra money. now at least go and meet your tenant in a casual way and see what type of person he is. also while in Pune meet other brokers and find out the implications of 24 months with out disclosing what had happened.tell this new broker u r want looking for a flat and borrow from him copy of any such lease of 24 months. Next time rent it out to some one working in IT industry and u can get better rent too. sign the agreement your self and take away the power of attorney from the broker

Now u cant do anything unless the person who u have given the flat agrees to give it after 12 months.
