Road Map for Pune ---> Shriwardhan ---> Dapoli .... please?

Can any one explain the Road Map for my weekend picnic plan?

Pune ---> Shriwardhan (for Harihareshwar) and possibly by same route to DAPOLI (for Murud)

Route to take from Pune: Pune -> Khopoli (on expressway, look out for Khopoli exit on left) -> Pen ->

Alibag -> Murud . Pune to Alibag is around 150 km and Murud is further 50 km. The 30km stretch between Khopoli

and Pen is bad. Remember to take bypass for Pen town especially if you are travelling during evening peak time.

Two routes available for you....

Pune-Mahad-Mangaon-Indapur-Kolad-Roha- Murud

or

Pune- Khapoli-Pen-Alibag-Ravadanda-Murud

Precautions

- Travel as much as possible during the day coz of the raod condition currently due to rains
- Do stay over for the night at one of the spots...its worth it...
- Try and go before September 30th as peak season rates apply after this date
