Im going to Puerto Vallarta? |
im going to puerto vallarta in march. im 17 and my friend is 18. i look 18 or older though. will they id me? i dont want to be left out. know of any places that for sure wont id? thanks they don't care in mexico as long as you have cash It is my opinion that they will not ID you. Have fun! i dont think in m,exico they id they dont u can drink any age there ive been there alot and i never get carted iam 30 but look younger oh no i was 14 when i went and they totally gave me stuff, not that i asked, even when my mom said no they'll give you some. trust me. The drinking age is 18, and some places, especially the kiddie bars on the malecon, where the best places to party are, will ask for ID, but most likely you can find a lot of places that don't bother. The only problem is getting too drunk and doing something that attracts the law. I won't scare you with stories of Mexican prisons, but just have fun. i doubt if they id you at the resort you are staying at if they have like pool side bars and etc. just dont look giddy or immature and they may card you, now when you go out clubbing, yeah they probably will ask for the id. but i'd say you are safe at your resort. You will be OK....they don't care. Enjoy more of PV in the south of town, over the river; north side is a bit touristy and more expensive, but then the tourists are fun to look at as they make fools of themselves, but that is part of the pleasure of Mexico.... Enjoy! Hello, I'm from Mexico City, but I麓ve gone to Puerto Vallarta. I麓m a little older, but I know it is much easier to go in to clubs and bars in Mexico than in other countries. They probably won't Id you. If they do, with some money you'll get in. With 18 you can drink and buy liquor. Still you have to be careful because bars will try to get a lot of money for letting you in with no id. Try negociating getting in for less. And sometimes it is just luck. Places where nobody is asked for id might ask you just because the guy at the door needs the money or just because he's not in the mood. Be careful too when buying drinks at bars... not always you get what you ask for and if you run in to drugdealers it becomes risky. You're young so BE CAREFUL! it is safer to buy your liquor in walmart or any store (won't ask for id) and drink it in your resort. If you go out stay alert. Puerto Vallarta is a safe town, however you'd rather beware. Don't act as a tourist. Be selfconfident and act as if you've gone to Vallarta already. When being a tourist, even to us mexicans, nice people from puerto Vallarta will try to get "more" from us. You'll have a great holiday at Vallarta. Enjoy the weather, the beach and nightlife. By the way. Spring break is the best time to party regardless your age. Drink responsibly |
