If we go to Puerto Vallarta instead of the caribbean,will we be disappointed? No... If you're going to "party" you wont be dissapointed... if looking for a family vacation you wont be dissapointed either....beaches are clean and beautiful and you'll save a lot of money. Have fun & enjoy! Puerto Vallarta is a favorite place of mine however the beaches are different compared to the caribbean. Some hotels are on the beach some are not.I say check the beach out online choose a hotel if that's apriority. Shopping is great in P V and going to the restaurant where Elizabeth made Night of The Iguana is a must.Go before sunset it is beautiful.Hope this helpsThe Caribbean is beautiful too just depends on where you are looking. Both are lovely.PV is a larger populated city. My wife and i went to Puerto Vallarta 10 years ago and had a great time. The food was good . The sand was a dark color, not white. Weather was 80f in Feb. Depends. The sea at Puerto Vallarta is not as blue and the rhythm of the town is not the same. If you want Caribbean blue and big las Vegas style party city.. then what happens in Cancun stays in Cancun; you will be disappointed. well were going to puerto vallarta on spring break and i think it will be great and ytht u wont be dissapointed because i dnt think i will=]] and i heard great things about it too if ur looking for a hotel im suggesting the westin its on the beach and its really nice No Wayy there are many things to do and explore there. The beaches are really fun, the sunsets are unforgetable, you can swim with dolphins, try the rip cord canopy tour, shopping, and go horseback riding - its really fun!! Beach is not as nice...been there 6 times going back next Saturday...less expensive...but not for long...weather can be iffy January & Feb |
