To what part of mexico does puerto vallarta belong to?

Puerto Vallarta is on the Pacific coast, in the state of Jalisco, about half way down the length of Mexicos' western coastline. See map at site below.

Puerto Vallarta is a town in the coast of Jalisco state ( famous because the woman has beautiful eyes). The main city is Guadalajara, a super beautiful city known as the pearl of west:

It belongs to my state:
JALISCO.
It is located in the pacific coast, in Bah铆a de banderas (flags bay); in the limit to the Nayarit state.
Nuevo Vallarta is in Nayarit state (in Bah铆a de Banderas municipality) , and they have mountain time; Puerto Vallarta (it is a municipality itself) is in Jalisco and has central time. So, even Nuevo Vallarta and Vallarta are close, they have one hour difference in time (it takes about 30 minutes to get from one downtown to another)
