Best Puerto Vallarta hotels for younge adults (20 something)?

What are the best Puerto Vallarta hotels that have a good balance of economy and location (next to popular clubs/discos/bars)?

Gracias!

OK, at first the zone: You should choose a hotel at the Hotel Zone North or South or at the Marina. NOT at Nuevo Vallarta. This is about 30 minutes from the center. The best clubs and bars are in the Marina or Hotel Zone North area, otherwise at the center of Puerto Vallarta.

See a Zone Map here: http://www.puertovallarta.de/puerto-vall...

Second: The price: There are many interesting hotels, some for families some for adults only. You decide. If You want something at a good price, have a look for GETAWAY ALL INCLUSIVE CLUB or HOLA VALLARTA, both at the Hotelzone South ( South of river pitillal ). Have a look to some more Hotels, including their site adresses at: http://www.puertovallarta.de/puerto-vall...

Both hotels are about 5 Minutes from Downtown, You just pay 50 cent for the bus.

The New York Times lists all clubs, bars and so on, each with a good description. Tripadvisor has mostly the better prices.

Good Luck
You are welcome

The Grand Mayan Hotel or La holla de mismaloya.

ok, you can see some of my answer to your other question...but the best places in vallarta are on the main strip...Halo, Zoo, Carlos O'Brians are the most popular.

the beaches in the hotel zone downtown are NOT good. my BF and i stayed down the beach during spring break this past year...in the "Los Arcos" group of hotels. we were so thankful because they had the best beach....lots of soft sand, plus the hotel had enough employees to look after everyone adequately. i felt terrible for people who paid big bucks to stay in the hotels up the beach because it was all rocks...or eye sores for neighbors.

i believe it took us about...10-15 minutes to walk to the clubs...all on the water, very safe, well lit...perfect amount of time to enjoy a last drink before you get there, or get a little fresh air before going home after the clubs.

dito what the other guy said...neuvo vallarat is for people who never want to leave the hotel. it's too far from the clubs. also...don't do the all inclusive...it's boring, and the food around town is great. plus if you are nervous about spanish, most people spoke english.
