Early October weather in Nice/d'Azur? Do people still go to the beach in the 1st week of October?

Question for the locals - do people still go to the beach in SW France in October? Highs in the mid-70's (F) -- is that still beach weather? THANK YOU to anyone who can help!

It depends on you. Personally, I don't go to the beach if it's less than 85 掳 F (temperature of air of course). Some people I know go swimming anytime, even if it's less than 70 掳 F.

To have an idea, yesterday we have had 95 掳 F and THAT was great for the beach.

But YES, every year we see tourists swimming up to the 15th of October.

The weather is great, but it's Autumn.

September -- maybe. But definitely not October, even early October.

Unless global warming kicks in big time :)
